The Plenary Council 2020
3 April 2018 | General Interest
The Plenary Council, to be held in 2020, is a once in a century opportunity to discover and discern, with the guidance of the Holy Spirit, the future course for the Church in Australia. It will open up the opportunity for all of us to name those issues that are important to our faith. The PLenary Council has the potential to poen up new horizons within ourselves and all Catholic communities, to discern ways to live our faith anew in contemporary Australian society.
2018 A YEAR OF LISTENING
Bishop Peter is inviting the people of Broken Bay to set out on a journey of discernment that will begin this year with listening, dialogue and prayer. This will flow into 2019 as a year dedicated how we can best live the life and mission of Jesus in contemporary Australian society. For more information: http://www.plenarycouncil.catholic.org.au
